In its current state, the power distribution system is incapable of handling moderate to large amounts of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation penetration. Blockchain presents a unique opportunity to maximize the potential of distributed generation, more efficiently manage less predictable and more volatile renewable power resources, and increase energy affordability. In this talk, we'll explore how Blockchain could serve as the underlying technology that enables and manages microservice transactions on the distribution grid and accelerates the path to achieving 100% clean energy for all.
